Real Life Ronnie

Archie comics was a huge part of my childhood growing up. I was about 11 years old when I bought my first comic. I used to buy them at a coin/pawn shop in Queens any chance I could get after School or the Variety Boys & Girls Club since it was close by. I really gravitated towards Veronica Lodge’s character. Though she was stuck up and spoiled rotten, I loved her look and all of her cute outfits. I never liked the fact that her and Betty would fight over Archie (he was a jerk!) but still enjoyed all the fun stories in each book. Till this day I still own most of my old Archie comics I collected as a kid so you know I was ecstatic when I saw that Rachel Antonoff created a Betty and Veronica collection. I just had to get my hands on some of her pieces like this awesome Veronica button-down. As soon as it arrived in the mail I just had to wear it so I paired it with a cobalt blue skirt I bought at Buffalo Exchange last year, my Cortnie Elizabeth comic clutch, a patent belt and patent heels, and my vintage sunglasses and jewelry. It was the PERFECT outfit and I love it so much! I was hoping I’d do Ronnie some justice haha. Can’t wait to show you guys the other pieces I have!
