NYFW: Strange Vixens & MINY Arty Exhibit.

It was Valentine’s day and still fashion week here in NY so I spent the day city slickin with my gal pal Inimac painting the town RED. Strange Vixens was having a cute little fashion show at Webster hall and I always miss it every NYFW so I made sure I made it this time to show my support. Vianca the designer of Strange Vixens has always been so sweet and supportive towards my blog and always sends me goody bags even if I can’t make it. It was a no brainer that I had to attend as she is such a wonderful, kind-hearted, talented person. I was also excited to see my girl Raquel Reed perform a burlesque act at the show as well. Raquel is an alternative model and creative genius behind her looks, costumes, and performances andddd she sings! It was a pleasure to see the fashion show and the burlesque performance, we had a very good time. As soon as it ended we were off to 29 Greene to check out my boy Prince’s arty exhibit. We stood there for a little bit before we got hungry and headed to a cute cupcake shop to indulge in all of the sweets. After all it was Valentine’s day and what better way to spend it than with your girlfriend at a show and then finish the night with cupcakes and hot cocoa? Check out more photos inside.

Bon Apetite at the Strange Vixens show! lolCupcakes!Cute little SV bandeau tops.Zipper necklaces!Buttons!

I couldn’t have worn a more perfect outfit on V-day. It screams love with a sprinkle of war considering my scarf has a beautiful skull print. My scarf is actually a gift from my friend Danielle and I can’t tell you how much I love it and how much I appreciate her for such a kind gesture. I had to wear it for Vday, it was the perfect touch to my edgy avant grade outfit. My jacket is a little something I found at Buffalo Exchange a few weeks ago for just $11. I paired it with a drappy black top underneath, a patent leather belt, my Bernie Dexter high-waisted pants, and my Via Spiga patent leather boots.Of course, I kept the accessories edgy with my gifted scarf and Agent Provocateur biker gloves. I wish you could see my Tarina Tarantino black skull earrings but I didn’t take any close-ups. I kept my makeup fairly simple. And the show begins.. This is the cute host.I loved these high-waisted comic shorts! I also really like her boots loll.I like this see-through cape as well.I love love love this dress. That comic print is the business!Need this too.Yes yes and yes.Very cool!Good job Vianca! The host in her second outfit. Too cute.Raquel’s performance!WEPA! She did amazing! After the show we lounged around for a bit. This is Ingrid’s cute V-day outfit.Love her top and shorts! This is her amazing necklace from Billy’s.This is a pic of my whole outfit, wish you could see the boots more. Meh!Love my gloves!

That red-head dude you see up there is my friend Prince. Dude has style for days and it is no surprise Nicola Formichetti added him to the team.
