What I wore today: 11.26.11

As many of you already know, I always find the best things at the Salvation Army. A few months ago while looking for tops I came across a really cool Mayan printed poncho/cape. I love culture so I had to have it, especially since it only cost me $5 thanks to a yellow tag sale. I fell in love with the print and what makes it even better is the fact that it is wool so it keeps me warm. It also has a cool scarf attached to the neckline. I put a belt over the poncho to accentuate my waist, I like things to be free and flowy but I felt this was missing something. My black sweater that is peeking out is by Betsey Johnson. I find that even when I think I am not wearing BJ, I and still wearing BJ lol. I wish you could see more of what I was wearing underneath but I didn’t get any pictures of it. I wore a Diesel oversized top that had a native american man with a headdress of feathers that resembled knives instead. It is one of those tops you wear all of the time because it is just so comfortable. I also wore leather pants and my Steve Madden bondage boots. My purse is by Thomas Wylde, I wear the hell out of it so it is falling apart but I just can’t let go lol. My earrings and one of my rings is from Billy’s Antiques. I get all of my jewelry from there because my boss always has the best stuff. However, my native ring is from a Puerto Rican festival I attended a few months ago. Lately I have also been experimenting with my hair so you guys are going to see a bunch of new styles from here on out since I don’t have my Bettie Page bangs anymore. It was the perfect day and this was the perfect outfit, I was comfortable and I felt great. See more details and photos inside.

I wish you could see my top! It is sooo awesome. Wah.
These are the rings I wore. I love silver, I actually prefer it over gold. I also am glad we have a close up of the Mayan print on my poncho. Isn’t it cool?I am a leather junkie. My Steve Madden bondage boots, leather pants, and Thomas Wylde bag go hand in hand. For my makeup I gave myself a smokey eye with shades of brown and pearl. I also did my usual Mac “pinch me” blush and nude lipstick by Avon.
