Fashion Week: Toni Maticevski Fall/Winter 2010

I attended the Toni Maticevski fashion show today and It was absolutely amazing.  From start to finish Toni wowed us with his beautiful Fall/Winter collection of silk tulle organza gowns, gold satin draped tops, sequins and embroidery, wool jackets with cinched waist’s, and picot knitted tops. I feel like Toni was very much inspired to use earth tones like black, gold, beige, and green because of the feathers of a peacock. Toni used peacock feathers as accessories on some of his models and it definitely added more flair to the colors he chose. If Tinker Bell was real and very much into fashion, she would have loved this show. I felt like all the models looked like beautiful faeries in couture. I’m sure we will see more of Toni Maticevski in the future, this show was brilliant and I can imagine how many celebrities will bring his vision to the red carpets this year.
