The awesome guys at the Freshthetic shop in Brooklyn collaborated with Derek Santiago to showcase his amazing, beautiful, and culturally diverse artwork. Over a hundred people RSVP’d for this event because not only is Santiago a huge success here in New York; his work is worldwide and spreading rapidly. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Santiago, and he is one of my favorite people in the world. I am so thankful for our friendship and I too, am I die-hard fan of his work. If you look very closely at his art work, you can see lots of details and hidden messages, every painting has a story and that’s what I love about his paintings. Santiago is also working on a new project that I predict will be huge, “A fine art apparel line”. People all over the world are going to go nuts when this clothing line drops. About vintagevandalizm

My name is Jasmin Rodriguez also known as Vintage Vandalizm. I am an avid collector of vintage dresses and most people know me for my style. I am also an artist and I try to incorporate all aspects of art in everything that I do. I am an aspiring Designer and I plan to take over the fashion world with my limitless imagination. My whole philosophy on fashion has always been to think outside of the box. My style has no boundaries but I have commonly taken inspiration from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. I love the pinup culture and style however I love being versatile so most of the time I like to clash opposites, different genres of history and fashion and somehow, someway, I make it work. I think the world is too fixated on trends that people tend to forget who they are and what they like..I’m here to help you break free, to help you stand out, to help you create your own style, be your own person, and most importantly see fashion in a whole different light.
