VLV is a huge rockabilly convention that gets bigger and bigger each year. You get to enjoy burlesque shows, rockabilly performances, vintage vendors, and participate in jiving classes and jiving contests at the Orleans hotel (hotel may change). This was my first year at VLV and Ive already booked my hotel for the following year. I really enjoyed the company of my friend Crystal who came with me to VLV, we had non-stop good times on this trip!
We started off our day walking around on the Vegas strip, we decided to see Caesar’s palace, after that, at night, we went to the Rio where my friend’s from a rockabilly band, Will and the High Rollers were performing. I wish I could fully express how beautiful the Voodoo lounge was, the venues in Vegas are just stunning compared to NY. Crystal and I got to watch the High Rollers along with other bands on the top of a roof top, overlooking all of Vegas.

The next day was the beginning of the VLV convention, it started at 6pm, so in the day time we visited the Bellagio hotel in the, went back to the Orleans to shop at the Vendors, and then went off to Javas Cheese Cake party in downtown LV. Downtown Vegas was fun! Crystal and I got married! lol

where I whipped out an old favorite dress, this was the dress I wore on my 21st birthday. I’m 22 now..Its been a while. Crystal looked amazing as usual in her Betsey Bombshell dress. Sass and class!
We got to see burlesque performances and we brought home Java’s bachelor pad issues!.

The next morning I had to run to the Orleans for the Bettie Page fashion show rehearsal. We did a fitting along with hair and makeup in a separate dressing room neighboring Stop-Staring, Pinup girl, La Pachuca, and other pin-up brands. All of the brands did an amazing job at the show. I also met the most amazing group of girls while modeling in the show, I could understand why Tatyana asked them to model for her, they all had character and sass to them. I modeled with 3 famous pin-up models/burlesque dancers Kalani Kokonuts, Doris May day, and Kitten De Ville whom I met in Mexico last year. I was going to do a separate post on this when I received better pictures of the show but I’m impatient 
. After the show Crystal and I ran over to the Hard rock hotel to visit my friend Bernie. [see earlier post on Love Jone's] Then we went back to the Orleans to see rockabilly bands play.

The next day we decided to go to Miracle Mile before the Tiki pool party. At night we went to the ballroom to watch the Jiving contest. It was the greatest ending to a wonderful trip!
